ALACRITECH-SPONSORED TRIATHLETE, YVONNE VAN VLERKEN, PLACES SECOND AT FORD IRONMAN™ WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
SAN JOSE, Calif. – October 17, 2008 – Alacritech Inc., the leader of innovative data-delivery technology, today announced that Yvonne van Vlerken, a world-record holder and an Alacritech-sponsored professional triathlete, took second place in the women’s professional segment, October 11, 2008, at the Ford Ironman World Championship, Kona, Hawaii. Van Vlerken completed the grueling swim-bike-run Iron distance of 140.2 miles in 9:21:20.
