As the pioneer of Dynamic TCP Offload™ technologies, Alacritech has developed a broad patent portfolio with 16 U.S. patents awarded, and numerous U.S. and international patent applications pending.

Microsoft has licensed certain of these patents for use with Windows products in the development of scalable networking technology known as ‘TCP Chimney’. Microsoft’s license is for software and does not extend to networking hardware.

Network hardware providers should review Alacritech patents to determine whether or not they need a license from Alacritech.
